DAY 01: New Delhi / Khajuraho (By Flight)

Falcon Tours and TravelsOn arrival at Khajuraho Airport, meet and greet and transfer to Hotel. Khajuraho - which has lent its name to a complex of exquisite Hindu and Jain temples, is a small town located amidst the forested plains of Bundelkhand in north-central Madhya Pradesh. The beautiful temples that dot Khajuraho are believed to have been built by the mighty Chandela rulers in the 9th and 10th century AD. The engravings on these temples are highly sensual and erotic that depicts in graceful forms intimate scenes of the whole range of human emotions and relationships. The temples of Khajuraho are divided into three geographical groups Western, Eastern and Southern. Today visit to The Western Group Side situated opposite the Government of India Tourist Office, has 14 temples. The Chaunsath Yogini, Lalguan Mahadev, Parvati, Varaha, Matangesvara, Lakshmana, Vishvanath and Nandi, Chitragupta, Devi Jagdamba and Kandariya Mahadeo temples belong to this group. Later on wait for The Light and Sound Show on the Western Group of temples complex the reminds the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and mark out the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. The 50-minute fascinating show in English starts at 06:30 PM and in Hindi it is at 07:30 PM Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 02: Khajuraho

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing, visit to The Eastern Group, 2.4 km from the Tourist Office, consists of seven temples (four Jain and three Hindu). The Parsvanath, Adinath, Shantinath, and Ghantai temples belong to the Jains while the Vamana, Javari and Brahma are Hindu temples. The Southern Group, about 5 km from Khajuraho, contains the Chaturbhuj and Duladeo temples. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 03: Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh National Park (270 Kms / 7 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Bandhavgarh National Park - is spread at Vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. On arrival at Bandhavgarh National Park, check in to a wild life resort and lunch. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a Jeep Safari in to Bandhavgarh National Park for wildlife viewing. Return back to the wildlife resort. Evening campfire and dinner. Overnight.

DAY 04: Bandhavgarh National Park

Falcon Tours and TravelsEarly morning wake up call with Coffee / Tea and proceed for Elephant Safari to wildlife view. Return back to the resort and breakfast. Rest of the day until lunch time free to relax or use resort facilities / activities. After Lunch proceed for a Jeep Safari in to Bandhavgarh National Park for wildlife viewing. Return back to the wildlife resort. Evening campfire and dinner. Overnight.

DAY 05: Bandhavgarh National Park / Jabalpur (165 / 4 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsEarly morning wake up call with Coffee / Tea and proceed for Jeep Safari to wildlife view. Return back to the resort and breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the resort and proceed to Jabalpur. On arrival at Jabalpur, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Later on proceed for sightseeing, visit to the Madan Mahal Fort - was built in 1116 by the famous Gond king Madan Shah. The fort, situated on a hilly terrain to the west of the city, provides a picturesque view of the nearby areas, Rani Durgavati Museum - houses a number of sculptures dating back to the 10th and 11th centuries. The museum also has letters and photographs relating to Mahatma Gandhi besides models and photographs depicting the Gond people, Marble Rocks - Known locally as Bheraghat, this gorge on the Narmada River lies 22 km west of Jabalpur. The gleaming white rocks with dark green volcanic seams rise as much as 30 meters on both side of the river Narmada. On full moon nights the rocks offer a wonderful sight. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 06: Jabalpur / Pachmarhi Hill Station (225 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Pachmarhi Hill Station - This vantage viewing point marks the place from where Pachmarhi was discovered by Captain Forsyth in 1857. The British developed Pachmarhi as a resort and their influence is embodied in its churches and colonial architecture. On arrival at Pachmarhi Hill Station, check in to the hotel and lunch. Later on sightseeing, visit to Jamuna Prapat (Bee Fall) - A spectacular fall in the stream which provides drinking water to Pachmarhi. The bathing pools above the fall are very popular, Handi Khoh - Pachmarhi's most impressive ravine has a 300 feet high precipice and dramatically steep sides, Rajat Prapat (Big Fall) - Those seeking adventure will find it in this ten-minute walk over rocks and boulders from Apsara Vihar to the top of Rajat Prapat, the 'big fall'. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 07: Pachmarhi Hill Station / Bhopal (210 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Bhopal - Situated in the midst of two artificial lakes, Bhopal, the city of lakes is one among the famous tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh. Located on a slope in the Malwa Plateau, the city is a naturally blessed with woody forests, majestic hills and vibrant landscapes. Besides these natural bliss, the man made lakes, reflect the twinkling lights of city at night, which is a sight to be worth watching. On arrival at Bhopal, check in to the hotel and lunch. Later on half day sightseeing, visit to Moti Masjid - Architecturally akin to Delhi's Jama Masjid, this imposing mosque was built by Sikander Jehan, daughter of Kudsia Begum, Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil - Situated at the entrance to the Chowk area in the heart of the walled city, Shaukat Mahal is an architectural curiosity. Its mixture of styles in Occidental idioms sets it apart from the predominantly Islamic architecture of the area, Taj-ul-Masajid - is one of the largest mosques in Asia, built by Nawab Shahjehan Begum around a courtyard with a large tank in the centre and with an imposing double storeyd gate-way with 4 recessed archways and 9 imposing cusped multifoiled openings in the main prayer hall, Upper and Lower Lakes - The Upper Lake is divided from the Lower Lake by an over bridge. M. P. Tourism's Boat Club on the Upper Lake provides facilities for exciting trips by sail, paddle and motor boats. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 08: Bhopal / Bharat Bhavan / Bhimbetka (46 Kms Each Way)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing, visit to Bharat Bhawan - One of the most unique national institutes in India, Bharat Bhawan is a centre for the performing and visual arts. Designed by renowned architect, Charles Correa, the contours of Bharat Bhawan merge in exquisite harmony with the landscape creating a visual impact of spacious and natural elegance. Later on proceed to Bhimbetka - A pre-historic site, its giant rock formation must have provided ample shelter to the ancient tribes that dwelt here. Recently, about 760 rock shelters of the Neolithic age (Circa 8,000 B.C.) were discovered here. These shelters are decorated with picture writings, depicting the life and times of pre-historic cave dwellers. Some of the drawings in white are reminiscent of the cave paintings in Pachmarhi, making the Bhimbetka group an archaeological treasure trove, an invaluable chronicle in the history of man. The super imposition of paintings shows that the same canvas was used by different people at different times. The drawings and paintings can be classified under seven different periods. Period I - (Upper Paleolithic), Period II - (Mesolithic), Period III - (Chaleolithic), Period IV & V - (Early History) & Period VI & VII - (Medieval). Later on return back to Bhopal and evening free to go around Bhopal City for shopping. Overnight.

DAY 09: Bhopal Departure

Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Bhopal Airport / Bhopal Railway Station to continue with your onward journey. Tour Ends.
