DAY 01: Bangalore

Falcon Tours and Travels Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Depending on the arrival time, half day sight seeing, visit to cover Lalbagh- 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants. Glasshouse (built on the lines of London's Crystal Palace) covers 18000sq feet. DAY 02: Bangalore / Mysore (130 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Mysore, enroute visit Srirangapatna - Island fortress of Tippu Sultan, the legendary Tiger of Mysore who put up a valiant fight against British domination. Visit Tippu's Summer Palace, Mosque and Sriranganatha Temple. On Arrival at Mysore, check in to Hotel. Lunch and later on Half-day city tour to Art Gallery -the art gallery at the Jaganmohan Palace house an excellent collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory, stone, antique furniture and ancient musical instruments, Mysore Zoo -established with royal patronage in the 19th century, the zoo's collection of fauna includes rare and exotic species housed in lush green environment, St. Philemon's Church and in the evening free for shopping, dinner and Overnight.

DAY 03: Mysore

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, full day sight seeing, visit to Chamundi Hills - perched atop a hill 13 km outside Mysore city is the temple of Chamundeshwari, the patron deity of the Wodeyars. The 4.8m tall monolith of Nandi and the gigantic Mahishasura statue are added attractions, Maharaja Palace - built in 1911-12 by Wodeyar Rulers, the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dasara celebrations. It is an entirely modern structure continuing the Hindu and saracenic styles of Architecture. Later on in the evening, visit to the world famous Brindavan Garden - famous garden at the Krishna Raja Sagar after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 04: Mysore / Madikeri - Coorg (120 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Madikeri, enroute visit to Cauvery Nisaragdhama - is a series of small and large islands on the Cauvery river near to Kushalnagar.. There are many shallow portions of the river through which one can just walk through. Other activities here include elephant rides and boating. Later on proceed to Madikeri and check into a Hotel / Resort. Lunch and later on visit to Abbey Falls - tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. As you make your way past stocky coffee bushes and tall trees entwined with pepper vines, the falls make a sudden and dramatic appearance as they cascade their way down steps into limpid pools to join the river Cauvery. Then visit to Raja Seat - from here you can see one of most beautiful scenery around Madikeri town and watch for Sunset. Return back to Hotel / Resort, dinner and overnight.

DAY 05: Madikeri

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing, visit to Tala Cauvery - from where the Kaveri River originates in the Brahmagiri hills, is considered among the most sacred places in Karnataka. It is at a height of around 1276 m above sea level. This is a sacred pilgrim center among the Kodavas, Bhagamandala - also known as Bhagundeshwara Kshetra, is a temple town. When the river Cauvery flows downhill, two more tributaries namely Kanake and Sujyoti join it. The spot where all three converge is called Bhagamandala. Return back to the Hotel / Home Stay / Resort and relax until evening. Evening visit to Madikeri Fort - was first built as a mud fort by Mudduraja in the last quarter of the 17th century. He also built a palace inside the fort. It was eventually rebuilt in granite by Tippu Sultan who named the site as Jaffarabad. Return back to Hotel / Resort, dinner and overnight.

DAY 06: Madikeri / Bangalore

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of Hotel / Resort and proceed back to Bangalore, enroute visit Bylakuppe - largest Tibetan settlement in Karnataka, visit Golden Temple, Sera Je Monastic University and Tibetan handicraft center. Arrive at Bangalore and get dropped at the designated place. Tour Ends.
