A sprawling bungalow on the banks of the majestic Kali River, this wilderness camp is all about making a connection with nature. Kali Adventure Camp is the destination for adventure as well as nature lovers. A perfect spot for white water rafting, the camp is specially equipped for it. During the rafting strict safety standards are adhered to. We've perfected our standing as a white water rafting destination with river guides who are highly experienced and are well-equipped. Other activities include Kayaking, Coracle Ride, Bird Watching, Nature Walk, Wild Safari, Sight-seeing activities etc.

Food & Restaurant

Falcon Tours and TravelsKali Adventure Camp offers the best of local cuisine in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. JLRL Chefs are adept at serving both Chinese and Continental food on request. Food is served in Ghol Ghar - a round, open-to-sides gazebo - which is exclusively for guests to dine.

Facilities/Activities

Falcon Tours and Travels Guests interested in watching TV can make use of the lounge at the main bungalow, Camp also has a full - fledged bar inside the main Bungalow & Internet Connection.

White Water Rafting, Cannoning, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Bird Watching, Trekking, Canoe Tours, Elephant Ride (Subject to Availability), Jeep safari into Kali Tiger Reserve (KTR) & Star Gazing. Water Rafting/Adventure sports at extra cost and to be paid at the Camp directly.

Itinerary: Day 1

1:00 pm: Check in, Settle down and freshen up
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Treat yourself to a sumptuous lunch at the Ghol Ghar
3:15 pm - 3:30 pm: Gear up for a ride into the Park with tea/ coffee served.
3:30 pm - 6:15 pm: Our naturalists take you on a wildlife Safari in Vehicle in to the Kali Tiger Reserve / Coracle Ride in Kali River showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
6:30 pm - 7:15 pm: Tea/ coffee served at the Ghol Ghar.
7:30 pm - 8:15 pm: Watch a wildlife movie at the Conference Hall.
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm: Bask in the warmth of the campfire, while you dine in the Ghol Ghar, exchanging tales of the jungle with the other guests and our staff.

Day 2

6:00 am - 6:30 am: Wake up call. A cup of tea or coffee.
7:00 am - 8:15 am: Our naturalists take you on a Nature walk / Bird watching showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
8:30 am - 9:00 am: Breakfast back at the camp
9:00 am - 10:00 am: Coracle Ride.
10:30 am: Check Out

Season
The River Kabini Lodge is a great place to visit any time of the year. But during the sweltering months of March, April and May, the pools and springs in the forest dry up, bringing the animals to the banks of the River Kabini. Here you get to see the largest congregation of Asiatic Elephants in the wild. The monsoons (July, August and September) has the trees lush and thick, but promise fewer animal sightings. The other months promise a fair chance of animal and bird sightings.

Travel Tips
  • Dress for comfort. Do avoid bright colours and stick to muted shades of green, black, grey and brown. The more you meld with the background, the better.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes.
  • Avoid smoking – anything can start a forest fire.
  • You’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, torch, etc.
  • Avoid plastics. We’re really trying to cut down on plastics.
  • Pets are strictly not allowed
