Kabini is located on the edge of the Nagarhole or Rajeev Gandhi national park The Kabini corridor connects the Bandipur and Nagarhole national parks .Kabini corridor is part of the Nilgiris Biosphere connecting Nagarhole, Bandipur, Mudumalai Wayanad and Several other parks making it one of the largest stretches of forests in India. The backwaters of the Kabini River provide water even during the driest months. As water recedes in summer grass sprouts in areas where the water has receded making it a green oasis in otherwise dry surroundings. 
There are twenty cottages each in their own private world, surrounded by plants and flowers. The cottages come with a private open to the sky Jacuzzi. Sit in the front patio and enjoy the sounds of birds or just the tranquillity and cool air around you.
Poshini is family friendly organic restaurant. Naturally most of the food is Indian and a lot of it represents the region we are in, to suit the taste buds of all. Our attempt is to serve food which is fresh from the farm and homely. Great care and thought has gone into creating the daily menu, which is based on the harvest of the day & the guest profile. The kitchens have the caring touch at Red Earth, has earned a name for itself by virtue of the spread for both our Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian clientele.
