A delightful strip of land lying at the foothills of Kuduremukh Reserve Forests, 2400 feet above the sea level with vast stretches of green pastures, paddy fields, areca trees, waterfalls, lush green forests, huge mist clad mountains, hillocks with rivers and rivulets, makes the Silent Valley Resort fascinating and enchanting. The cottages are in the ethnic style taking you back to a village type of an atmosphere where simplicity and harmony reigned supreme. TERI (Tata Environmental Research Institute) has certified the cottages as one of the Energy Efficient Buildings in India. It has a sustainable habitat with a minimum environmental footprint, in a manner that it fuses modern demands with ecological balance.
The resort has 15 cottages, out door tents and dormitory. We have chosen herbal plants of Western Ghats as the theme and each cottage has been named after an herbal plant. These herbal plants are grown around the cottage.
Three tiered multi-cuisine restaurant facing the Swimming pool and the valley. We have separate kitchen for Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian food. We specialize in Jain food as well because places around are famous for Jain pilgrimage
