DAY 01: Ahmedabad

Falcon Tours and Travels On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport, meet & greet and transfer to Hotel and freshen up. Half day sightseeing, visit to Sabarmati Ashram - One of the city's biggest tourist attractions, this was once the riverside home of Mahatma Gandhi, converted into an ashram in 1918. Known as Satyagraha Ashram in his lifetime, it was a focal point of the Mahatma's non-violence movement, Swami Narayan Mandir - Dating to 1850 it is a fusion of Jain and Maratha architectural lines. At the entrance keep a look out for the rich detail in carving on its exteriors, Juma Masjid - The grand golden sandstone mosque's 15 domes are supported by 260 pillars. Built by Ahmad Shah II in 1424, it is located in the old quarter. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 02: Ahmedabad / Rajkot (225 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Rajkot, on arrival at Rajkot, check in to a hotel and freshen up. Lunch and later on half day sightseeing, visit to Kaba Gandhi's Gate - It is of immense importance and is in-fact Gandhiji's ancestral home which is now the repository of the "Gandhi Smriti"- a memorial museum that has photographs and several personal effects, Watson Museum and Library - It is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Rajkot and is located in the Jubilee Gardens. It is an instance to Saurashtra's rich cultural heritage and displays exhibits like copies of artifacts dating to the times of Mohenjodaro, 13th century carvings, silverware, natural history exhibits and textiles. Later in the evening, visit to Bangdi Bazaar - The market in the old part of the city is a maze of narrow alleyways, lanes and cul-de-sacs. Shop fronts and fort paths displaying a vast array of embroidered fabrics, beadwork, bandhanis and readymade flow in profusion to the colorful riot of Bangles in every shape, form and color giving the market the apt title of Bangdi Bazaar. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 03: Rajkot / Somnath (180 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Somnath, on arrival at Somnath, check in to a hotel and freshen up. Later on visit to Somnath Temple - is situated in the Junagadh district of Gujarat. It is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. The most interesting fact about the Somnath temple is that it has been built and destroyed six times. The present structure was rebuilt the seventh time. There a number of legends attached to the Somnath Temple of India. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 04: Somnath / Porbandar (140 Kms / 3 Hrs)

On arrival check in to the hotel. later on sightseeing, visit to Kirthi Mandir - the birth-place of the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi, is the main centre of attraction for the tourists. It was built by Shri Nanji Kalidas and Shri Purushottam Mistry, Sudama Mandir - Extremely poor but self-respected Sudama and Krishna's friendship brings tears of joy, when remembered. It is in memory of this Sudama that a temple has been built in the heart of the city/. Later on visit to Chowpatty - Porbandar's coastal line is just half a kilometer away from the city. Popularly known as Chowpatty, it is one of the main attractions for the local population as well as tourists, to visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery throughout the year. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 05: Porbandar / Dwarka (110 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Dwarka - is synonymous with lord Krishna and this sleepy locale has been gained high accolades as the gateway to the much cherished salvation. As per the Holy Scriptures, Dwarka is one of the holy spots that bestow deliverance since it was here that lord Krishna had established his earthly kingdom. On arrival at Dwarka, check in to the hotel later on sightseeing, visit to Dwarakadeesh Temple - possesses a long history of 2500 years. As the name suggests the presiding deity is none other than Lord Krishna. It is indeed a monument with superb artistic expressions. A five storied main shrine supported by 60 roof columns is the main attraction of this grand structure, Gita Mandir - tries to project the values of the sacred book Bhagavad Gita. This marble structure is a marvel in terms of artistic expressions and at the same time it imparts a saintly feeling to all those delve in to its holy premises, Rukshamanee Mandir - is an important shrine and it is dedicated to the most beloved consort of Krishna, Devi Rukmini. A masterpiece in artistic terms, this temple makes the beholder spell bound. Its highly embellished walls and rich carvings are simply superb. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 06: Dwarka

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast full day sightseeing, visit to Gomati Ghat - As per the Holy Scriptures, River Gomati is none other than the sacred Ganges, which descended from heaven. As the reservoir of various myths this river hosts so many shrines and Ghats where the devotees often do various rituals, Nageshwar Temple or Nagnath Temple - is one of the prominent Shiva shrines in India and this temple represents the removal of evil activities from earth. As one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, this shrine houses a curious myth about its origin and later on visit to Beyt Dwarka - is one of the landmark sites in Dwaraka. It is believed that Lord Krishna ruled the city from here. It is also believed that Lord Vishnu choose this spot to kill the demon Shankhasura and the place has also got other soubriquet, Bet Shankhoddar. To add glamour to these mythical stories, Beyt Dwarka now houses a host of prominent shrines that allures the devotees with its exquisite serenity. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 07: Dwarka / Jamnagar (145 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Later on sightseeing, visit to Willingdon Crescent - The most remarkable of Ranjit Singh's construction is Willingdon crescent, the swooping arches of its curved facade overlooks the wide streets of Chelmsford Market, Lakhota Fort and Kotha Bastion - In the centre of old Jamnagar, on an island in the middle of the lake, are two magnificent old structures - the Lakhota Fort and the Kotha Bastion. This diminutive palace (Lakhota fort) once belonged to the Maharaja of Nawanagar. Lakhota Fort is Jamnagar's Museum and its terraces display a fine collection of sculpture that spans a period from the 9th to 18th Century, Marine National Park - The North-West coast of Saurashtra, bordering the heavily tidal Gulf of Kutch, is fringed with more than forty small islands, whose ever depleting mangrove population gives rise to some of the richest marine life off mainland India. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 08: Jamnagar / Mumbai (By Flight)

Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Jamnagar Airport to board your flight to Mumbai to get your connecting flight back to your destination. Tour Ends.
