DAY 01: Mumbai

Falcon Tours and Travels Meet and greet on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Depending on your arrival time relax or half day sightseeing, visit to The Gateway of India - The Gateway of India was constructed in the year 1924 is the greatest tourist halt of Mumbai. The Gateway of India is the monument stood testament to British Supremacy, Prince of Wales Museum - Prince of Wales Museum is one of the best museums the country was structured in the year 1914 and surrounded by all the beautiful landscapes of Mumbai. A wise collection of painting, art, old fire arms and rare coins in Prince of Wales Museum makes the spot a worth destination to tour. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 02: Ahmedabad / Bhavnagar (190 Kms / 5 hours)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing, visit to Elephanta Island - Elephanta Cave Island - The Elephanta Island was the capital of the powerful coastal kingdom and the mine of caves from 6th century. When the Portuguese took control of the island, they named it after a monolith of an elephant, Hanging Gardens - Hanging Garden is laid on the top of Malabar Hill provide a magnificent view of the city. The Hanging Garden or Ferozshah Mehta is a genuine tourist halt since 1881, Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus - It is the most imposing Building in Mumbai where countries first train rolled out. It is formerly known as the Victoria Terminus and thus there remains a statute of queen Victoria at the entrance of the terminus. It looks like a church than a railway station. Later on in the evening visit to Marine Drive - It is also known as the Netaji Subash Chandra Marg, a bustling waterfront walkway. Every evening thousands of visitors make their cool visit to Marine Drive to see its stunning sunset. Marine Drive runs from the Nariman point to the foot of Malabar hill, is built on the land reclaimed along the Arabian shore. Evening time for shopping or go for the best restaurant for dinner. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 03: Mumbai / Nasik (160 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Later on half day sightseeing, visit to Pandavleni Caves are one of the oldest caves in Maharashtra dating back to 1st century BC. Originally the viharas of Buddhist monks, the caves have extensive writings in Brahmi script. Later on visit to Nasik Jain Temple Dharmachakra - one of the renowned Jain Temple in Nasik. Evening time for shopping in Nasik or go around Nasik City. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 04: Nasik / Shridi (70 Kms / 2 Hrs)

It is also the place where his Samadhi is situated. The holy town makes a must-visit destination for most of the people who come to Maharashtra on sightseeing tours. On arrival to Shirdi, check in to the hotel and freshen up. After lunch, half day sightseeing, visit to Samadhi of Abdulbaba - The man who used to read Quran to Sai Baba was fondly known as Abdulbaba. The people of the town and those of Shirdi have sincere devotion towards Abdulbaba, who was also one of the most fervent followers of Baba, Dwarkamai - is the mosque where Sai Baba used to stay, when he came to Shirdi for the second time. It is situated to the right of the entrance of Sai Mandir. And in the evening visit to Sri Sai Baba Temple - The holy town in Maharashtra, known as Shirdi, is held in great reverence by people. The reason for this is that the town is believed to be the place where Sai Baba lived for a major part of his life and he left for the holy abode from here only. Today, Shirdi houses the Sai Baba Temple. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 05: Shridi / Aurangabad (140 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Half day sightseeing, visit to Aurangabad Caves - Apart from the world famous Ajanta and Ellora caves, Aurangabad acquires its own group of caves 2 km north of the Bibi-ka-Maqbara. They were carved out of the hillside around the 6th or 7th century AD. All the 10 caves at this place are associated with Buddhism. All the caves in the Western group are called Viharas, Bibi Ka Maqbara - Bearing a little resemblance from Taj Mahal, Bibi Ka Maquara is the tomb of Begum Rabia-ud-Durani, wife of Emperor Aurangazeb. Thus, it is also called, "Poor Man's Taj Mahal". Later in the evening visit to Himroo Factory - The Himroo factory, situated in the old town near Zaffar Gate, produces hand-woven Himroo shawls from cotton, silk and silver threads. This art, known as Kam Khab, is considered to be a cheaper alternative to the prized brocades of silk and gold thread. This is the best bet while shopping in Aurangabad. Return Back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 06: Aurangabad / Ajantha Cave - Day Excursion (100 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after early morning breakfast, full day excursion to Ajantha Caves - Ajanta Caves has been designated as a World Heritage Site, to be preserved as an artistic legacy that will come to inspire and enrich the lives of generations to come. Ajantha Caves has 29 caves and remained shrouded in mystery for over a millennium, till John Smith, a British Army Officer, accidentally rediscovered them while on a hunting expedition in 1819.

Situated far away from inhabitation, amidst isolated surroundings, these caves were built in the middle of a huge rock. The main aim behind the construction of the Ajanta Caves was to provide a dwelling and praying place for the Buddhist monks, who were dedicated towards the mission of spreading the principles of Buddhism throughout the world. All of them have been carved with precision and adorned with exquisite architectural details. The sculptures seen here seem to be the result of superb craftsmanship. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 07: Aurangabad / Ellora Caves - Day Excursion (30 Kms 1 Hr)

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after early morning breakfast, full day excursion to Ellora Caves - Founded in the period between 5th century and 10th century AD, these caves were declared as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, a number of years back. They are believed to have been built by the rulers of the Rashtrakuta Dynasty and serve as the epitome of rock-cut architecture in India. The total number of caves at Ellora is 34 and they represent the three different religions of the world - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

Ellora Caves were carved out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills and comprise of temples as well as monasteries. There are total twelve Buddhist Caves at Ellora (numbered 1 to 12), while the Hindu Caves number seventeen (13 to 29). On the other hand, the Jain Caves excavated at the site are only five in number (numbered 30 to 34). The co-existence of Hindi, Jain and Buddhist Caves, at the same site, serves as a proof of the fact that religious harmony prevailed during that period. Return back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 08: Aurangabad / Pune (214 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Lunch and half day sightseeing, visit to The Osho International Commune - It is in Koregaon Park where thousands of foreigners come to take part in the meditation courses organized by the Ashram. It has founded by Osho Rajneesh and Samadhi is located in the Ashram, Shindyanchi Chhatri - It is a temple adorned with Rajasthani architecture where you can witness the memories of the great warrior, Mahadji Shinde and later on in the evening visit to Bund Garden - This is a fascinating garden that lies on the bank of the Mula Mutha River. It is now popularly known as the Mahatma Gandhi Udyan. Boating facilities are available. Return back to the hotel, freshen up and proceed for a night life / dine in the best restaurant in Pune City. Overnight.

DAY 09: Pune / Lonavala (65 Kms / 2 Hrs)

On arrival check in to a Hotel / Resort and freshen up and half day sight seeing, visit to Bhushi Dam - This is definitely one of the most exciting sites to visit in Lonavala. This dam has a beautiful waterfall in the vicinity, which is a must see. The surrounding area of the dam has been developed into a beautiful catchments area for tourists to enjoy, Karla Caves - The Karla caves are important historic Buddhist sites that were built around 2-3rd century BC. The cave shrines are popular among all tourists and are visited by everyone who comes to Lonavala. Return back to the Hotel / Resort and overnight.

DAY 10: Lonavala

Falcon Tours and TravelsMorning after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing, visit to Ryewood Park and Shivaji Udyan - Ryewood Park and Shivaji Udyan are beautiful gardens that have perfectly manicured grass, tall trees, beautiful flowers and lot of place to sit around and relax. If you are coming with your family, this place will be ideal for you to visit. You can also explore the ancient Shiva temple that is located in the premises here, Valvan Dam - The Valvan Dam is another important tourist attraction here. The catchment area of the dam has been converted into a lovely picnic spot with a beautiful garden. The dam basically provides water to the Khopoli power station, in order to generate electricity, Tungarli Lake - The Tungarli Lake is a beautiful lake that looks crystal clear during the monsoons. This lake basically provides water to the residents of Lonavala. It provides much peace and serenity to all those who long to take a break from the fast city life and spend time with nature. Later on in the evening, visit to Lonavala Lake - Yet another beautiful lake, Lonavala Lake is the place to be if you are looking for peace and beauty. The lake is surrounded by natural beauty and you can see nature at its best. Return back to the Hotel / Resort and overnight.

DAY 11: Lonavala / Mumbai (105 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed back to Mumbai, enroute visit to Rajmachi Point - Located around 6.5 kilometers from Lonavala, the Rajmachi Point gives a spectacular view of Rajmachi Fort, which once belonged to Shivaji. One can also get a panoramic view of the valley that surrounds it. On arrival at Mumbai, get dropped of at a designated place. Tour Ends.
