The Sharavathi Adventure Camp is an ideal location to experience the quintessential magic of the monsoons. After the rain-laden clouds have moved on, the weather is conducive for outdoors. Located just 6 Km from the Jog Falls, Sharavathi Adventure Camp combines the grandeur of the plush mountains with a dash of adventure. Tucked snugly on the slopes of a hillock skirting the Talakalale Reservoir, this resort is a great place to revere the invigorating melange of sunshine and rain. Every season brings a new reason to visit these salubrious mountains.

A delicious spread of South and North Indian dishes, buffet style is served at the Dining Hall. A choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian is available.

EarlyYou can chase butterflies as they flutter from bud to blossom and leaf to leaf. Drifting along the refreshing blue waters of the reservoir you can indulge in aquatic adventures like coracle rides, kayaking and joy fishing. Sipping a hot cup of coffee by the water's edge. Also visit to Jog Falls / Nature walk / Bird-watching.
Itinerary: Day 1
1:00 pm: Check in, Settle down and freshen up 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Lunch at dining hall 4:00 pm - 4:25 pm: Tea/coffee served 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Coracle ride /boating / kayaking 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm: Tea/coffee by the reservoir 7:30 pm - 8:15 pm: Documentary film screening 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm: Bask in the warmth of the Campfire, while you dine in the dining hall, exchanging tales of the jungle with the other guests and our staff.
Day 2
6:00 am - 6:15 am: Wakeup call 6:30 am - 8:00 am: Visit to Jog Falls / Nature Walk / Bird-watching 9:00 am - 10:00 am: Breakfast at dining hall 10:30 am: Check-out
Season
The south-western monsoon starts in June and lasts until November. During the monsoons, the Western Ghats are drenched in rain that rekindles new life and freshness. This is the best time to visit the Jog Falls. October through March is ideal for water based activities. The summer lasts from March to May.
Travel Tips
Dress for comfort. Do avoid bright colours and stick to muted shades of green, black, grey and brown. The more you meld with the background, the better. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Avoid smoking – anything can start a forest fire. You’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, torch, etc. Avoid plastics. We’re really trying to cut down on plastics. Pets are strictly not allowed.
