Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Madikeri, enroute visit to Cauvery Nisaragdhama - is a series of small and large islands on the Cauvery river near to Kushalnagar.. There are many shallow portions of the river through which one can just walk through. Other activities here include elephant rides and boating. Later on proceed to Madikeri and check into a Hotel / Resort. Lunch and later on visit to Abbey Falls - tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. As you make your way past stocky coffee bushes and tall trees entwined with pepper vines, the falls make a sudden and dramatic appearance as they cascade their way down steps into limpid pools to join the river Cauvery. Then visit to Raja Seat - from here you can see one of most beautiful scenery around Madikeri town and watch for Sunset. Return back to Hotel / Resort, dinner and overnight.
Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing, visit to Tala Cauvery - from where the Kaveri River originates in the Brahmagiri hills, is considered among the most sacred places in Karnataka. It is at a height of around 1276 m above sea level. This is a sacred pilgrim center among the Kodavas, Bhagamandala - also known as Bhagundeshwara Kshetra, is a temple town. When the river Cauvery flows downhill, two more tributaries namely Kanake and Sujyoti join it. The spot where all three converge is called Bhagamandala. Return back to the Hotel / Home Stay / Resort and relax until evening. Evening visit to Madikeri Fort - was first built as a mud fort by Mudduraja in the last quarter of the 17th century. He also built a palace inside the fort. It was eventually rebuilt in granite by Tippu Sultan who named the site as Jaffarabad. Return back to Hotel / Resort, dinner and overnight.
